June 2018
Greetings from the BNS/BCS Library!
We hope this letter finds you in the midst of reading (on your couch, on a beach, on the subway, etc.). We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces in our lovely library this fall.
We have a library task for you this summer. Please make sure that you have an active MyLibraryNYC/Brooklyn Public Library card and that you keep it in a handy place (like your wallet).
What? You already have a library card and have been engaging in lots of great Summer Reading? Fantastic! If you have not had the chance to get one, or if you’ve misplaced your card, no worries! Fill out this APPLICATION to get MyLibraryNYC fine-free library card. Return it to any branch in Brooklyn, Queens, or Staten Island to get your card.
Why? A public library card gives you access to ebooks and audiobooks that you can read and listen to on your personal devices for free. In addition, the BPL’s electronic resources and databases will help you with assignments and research projects throughout the school year.
Thank you for reading our letter, and have a GREAT summer.
Best,
Susan, Amanda, & Karen
